Your registrar account password signs you into the provider’s portal. The domain authorisation code, also called EPP AuthInfo, is separate and is used for actions such as transferring the domain.
auDA’s password recovery tool sends recovery information to the registrant contact email recorded in the registry. It cannot simply send that information to a different address you choose.
Contact your domain provider about updating the contact details and completing its verification process. Use auDA’s WHOIS tool to identify the registrar if needed. If you have contacted the provider and still need help, auDA provides an enquiry route.
Recovering access does not require you to change hosting or DNS immediately. Keep the current services in place while you establish control and plan any changes.
